Attorney And Lake Charles Native James Benton Treats Many To Black Panther Premiere

A good friend of mines James Benton is truly a great person. He is a native of Lake Charles but is currently practicing law in the city of Baton Rouge. He called me several weeks ago and told me he wanted to do something for residents here in Lake Charles. The anticipation was high for the release of the "Black Panther" movie people all over the world was looking forward to see the marvel character on the big screen.

James invited me and  told me to bring along s few of my special friends to the event. But when I got there yesterday I wasn't expecting what I was about to see. We all met in the food court and once we came in, we saw boxes and boxes of pizza, sandwiches, boudin and drinks that could feed a village. When it was all said and done, James fed well over 200 people and bought tickets for each one of them to attend a special screening of "Black Panther"

It was truly a great feeling to see the kids so hyped up to see someone who looked like them as a superhero and on the big screen. It was a testament that they could do the same thing. It also showed a portrayal of an African American man who wasn't living a life of crime or negativity. I wanted to give full accolades to James Benton and his friends and family who also made sure that everyone there was well take care of during this time. Thanks man and I am truly humbled to be able to call you a friend.
