I was born in Meridian, Mississippi, the youngest of six boys. I was always heavily influenced by music, as my older brother Frank used to buy albums as soon as they came out. I was heavily influenced by radio, as well. I remember being younger and listening to my favorite DJs on the radio and feeling like I could do that. As luck would have it, the opportunity came as I started my journey on one of the heritage stations in my hometown. I eventually moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, then Columbus, Mississippi, and then here to Lake Charles in 2001. I am married with a beautiful wife and one son who also has a passion for music. Who knows what the future will hold? You can check me out every weekday afternoon beginning at 2pm inside The Afternoon Jumpoff.
