Good news for people who've received traffic citations in Calcasieu Parish, and no Sheriff Tony Mancuso isn't making your recent citation go away. The public can now pay traffic citation fees in Sulphur, which will surely save many from having to cross the bridge into Lake Charles to pay them.

According to a media release from Kim Myers, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Sulphur (West Cal) Law Enforcement Center, located at 1017 Beglis Parkway, will now accept payments for traffic citations Monday - Friday, from 8 am until 4 pm.

“I felt like we needed to add an option for the public to be able to pay their traffic fees on the west side of the river instead of having to drive to Lake Charles.  With all the traffic congestion problems we are currently having in the parish, I wanted to make it more convenient for the community,” stated Sheriff Tony Mancuso.  “We will still continue to collect citation fees at the CPSO Tax Office in Lake Charles; the Sulphur office will be another alternative for people.”

Residents will need to bring their citation along with a photo ID. Payments can be made using cashier check, money order, or credit card.
