LCPD Investigating Early Morning Drive-by Shootings

The Lake Charles Police Department is investigating an early morning drive-by shooting that took place on Monday, October 22, 2018, at approximately 7 am. According to the media release, officers responded to shots fired in the area of 11th Street and 4th Avenue. Luckily no one was injured, but the suspect reportedly fled the scene.

A few hours later at about 10 am, officers responded to shots fired in the area of Rose Street and 7th Ave. That's where officers located a vehicle with damage sustained from being struck by gunfire.

Both incidents were confirmed as drive-by shootings, and "may have been committed by the same suspect or suspects". said the media release.
