Today in Tha Wire Super Bowl weekend 2018 seen a lot of firsts. For starters fans seen rap legend, Calvin Broadus, in a whole new light. Just call him Brotha Snoop for now! HipHollywood reports the Dogg Father was all about prayers & pigskin as he sported a fly choir robe to perform on BET's annual TV special.

Well let the church say Amen! The rap legend was on point performing several tracks from his forthcoming, and first ever, Gospel album Bible of Love. From the sounds of things, Snoop's new LP is going to be really good. Featuring heavy Gospel hitters like Tye Tribbett, Rance Allen, and the legendary Clark Sisters.

Snoop Dogg was literally in heaven Saturday February 3, 2018, at the 19th Annual Gospel Super Bowl Celebration. Joined by Gospels biggest stars, the rap icon appeared to be right at home. Matter of fact, Rolling Stone reports he is the first secular artist to headline the event. That's pretty big. Peep the videos below, and catch a sample of Uncle Snoops forthcoming LP.

I know I'm going to get it. Evidently Snoop was in the mood to testify, because Bible of Love will come in a double-disc pack featuring 32 songs. The forthcoming project will be available on March 16th, but you can pre-order it here.

Congrats to Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner who welcomed their first child February 1, 2018.

Finally I can't wait for details to emerge about the Queens of Hip-Hop Tour! I will be front and center for this one. Of course I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get a chance to see in our area. So far there's no itinerary to speak of, but AllHipHop is reporting a full fledge tour is on the way.

The line-up is epic and the tour will be historic. Miami rap queen Trina said she's excited to be among the rap royalty scheduled to road trip. Recognizing how big it's going to be, she said "I am honored to share the stage with women who have placed an imprint on the Hip Hop scene of music worldwide with their sound and stamp.” I'll keep my ears to the street, but so far no dates other than the March 17th Atlanta show have been announced.
