Lil Wayne is dropping
Tha Carter V! This has gotta be the most highly anticipated album EVER. According to
Lil Tunechi himself, the album will finally be released tomorrow. However,
Heavy.com reports the LP will really be available tonight  9 p.m. PST, 11.p.m. CT, or at the stroke of Midnight EST. Sadly, there's been some talk about Weezy's
11th studio album, being his last. I hope he'll reconsider if he's thinking about retiring, but we'll cross that bridge when it comes. Stream

At 35-years old, life is good for Weezy these days. Like... really all good. His long, long, LONG legal battle with Cash Money/Universal Music is finally over. On June 7, 2018 both sides agreed to settle for an undisclosed amount. Everybody was a winner as the case was resolved out of court, each side retained their stakes in the Young Money label, Wayne got his money, and Tha Carter V is no longer being held ransom. TCV was supposed to drop in 2014. So of course, Wayne tuned-up the production, added a few tweeks on a couple of tracks, and revised some lyrics here and there.
