The news came last week that former Tempations singer Dennis Edwards, one of the more colorful members from the group passed away at the age of 74 years old. Along with former group member Melvin Franklin, Dennis had one of the most memorable parts on the traditional classic "Silent Night".

He eventually left the group and embarked on a solo career that spawned the hit song "Don't Look any further" featuring Siedah Garrett. The song claimed the top spot on the charts for several years and was sampled by Notorious B.I.G and Junior Mafia for the hit "Get Money"

Apparently he hadn't been in the best of health lately and now reports come out that he was abused by his wife just weeks before his passing. While it's still up in the air on what is true or false. I am sure that this is going to get pretty interesting in the long run. This was a sad day in musical history, but he left many classics that his fans and more will be able to enjoy for years to come. Check out some of his biggest songs from back in the day and R.I.P to the legendary singer. Thanks for the years of great music.
