Sidenote: The City of Lake Charles will partner with the Prien Lake Mall and Healthy Blue for their annual Harvest Fest to now be held at the Prien Lake Mall, located at 496 E. Prien Lake Road, said a media release. The BOO-tastic Bash will reportedly "feature a mall-wide trick-or-treat, from 5 pm - 6:30 pm. Children are invited to come in costume to scour the mall and its retailers for candy, while supplies last." It's all free and open to the public to attend, but no "toy weapons are allowed, and masks should only be worn during trick-or-treating".

The BOO-Tasitc Bash is from 5 pm - 8 pm and will feature games, a haunted house, and much more.

Can't speak for the other cities listed above, but it's recommended that trick-or-treating activity in Lake Charles ends at 8 pm so that parents can get their children home by 8:30 pm, "unless they are attending a supervised function sponsored by other parents or civic organization", said the media release.
