2019 Downtown Lake Charles Crawfish Festival, April 12-14

The Original Downtown Lake Charles Crawfish Festival returns Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14, to the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 North Lakeshore Drive. There will be plenty of family fun, food, live music, a 5k run/walk, the Mitchell Brothers’ Carnival, and over 10,000 pounds of boiled crawfish!

On Friday the carnival gates open at 4 pm, with the Crawfish Scoot 5K through downtown Lake Charles kicking off at 6 p.m. On Saturday the carnival gates open at 11 to 10 pm, with live entertainment kicks off at 12:30 pm, with performances from Geno Delafose & French Rockin Boogie, and Cupid.

On Sunday the carnival gates open from 11 am - 10 pm.

Admission is $10, and kids 10 and under are admitted free. Crawfish, beverages, and other food items will be sold at an additional cost. Events on Friday are free to attend except for the Crawfish Scoot 5K Walk/Run and carnival rides. On Saturday, general admission is $10, and kids 10 and under enter for free. Food and beverages are sold at an additional cost.
