Boil Water Advisory Lifted

The boil water advisory issued on Thursday, June 6, was lifted this morning for the area along Prien Lake Rd. Between Second Ave. and Center St.

It was a precautionary boil water advisory issued by the City of Lake Charles Water Division for service in that particular area.

According to a media release,

The main break causing the advisory has been repaired and full pressure has been restored to the area.  Extensive flushing was performed and bacteriological samples taken from the affected areas were negative for any contamination.
