Burglary & Theft Committed at Easy Street Business, CPSO Searching for Suspect

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect responsible for burglary and theft at a local business located on Easy Street in Lake Charles, on August 1.

After viewing video surveillance from the business, investigators learned the theft took place on July 29, at about 3:45 am. The truck can be seen driving into the gate where the driver exits the truck and cuts the lock to gain access. The driver then backed up to a storage shed and stole over $14,000 worth of tools, said a media release from Kim Myers.

Investigators said a small trailer was also being pulled behind what's described as a white four-door Dodge pickup truck with a spare tire on the rear driver's side.
