On Easter Sunday, many people were watching the weather closely. While many of us here in Southwest Louisiana were very lucky when it came to the severe storms, parts of north Louisiana were not as fortunate.

A series of tornadoes and strong winds swept across parts of Louisiana and caused some devastating damage. In the midst of the COVID-19 stay-at-home order, many of these people now have to deal with damage to their homes o,  in some cases, loss of lives.

Arcadia and Monroe were some of the hardest hit places. Hundreds of homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed.
