Home Invasion Reported in Lake Charles Over the Weekend

The Lake Charles Police Department reported their latest home invasion this week, making it the second since August 11, when a 68-year-old victim was beaten. The suspect, in that case, has since been arrested and charged.

LCPD responded to the 3500 block of McKinley Street on Saturday, August 25, at about 2:30 am, where shots were reportedly fired during a home invasion. Officers found two white male victims, who were taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The case is still under investigation, but two unknown black males reportedly forced themselves into the residence with a gun and shot both victims.
