This story is truly not one that I take joy in writing. There is nothing like losing a loved one. It hits home even more when that loved one is a parent. Now imagine losing both of your parents on the same night.

This is exactly what happened to the Randolph family, which includes siblings Tim Randolph, Jessica Randolph, and Ashley Denee had to endure over the weekend. Their mother and father, Pastor Steven and Barbara Randolph, transitioned this past Saturday night while battling the coronavirus after 38 years of marriage. If there is any solace in this situation, it would be that they were both together during their last moments.

Even while I am writing this story, I can't imagine how I would feel if this were me. Our parents are our angels and backbones to our families. However, the children want to stress the importance of listening to the guidelines put in place to try and combat this dreadful disease. They are big proponents of social distancing and washing your hands often. I had the chance to speak with Ashley Denee Briscoe this afternoon, and she wanted to stress the importance of the aforementioned above and talk about the love she and her siblings had for her parents.

Our hearts go out to their family and friends, and we remind you all to take care of yourselves and look out for one another. There is a GoFundMe page created for assistance in home going services for the beautiful couple. If you would like to make a contribution, please do so here.
