SWLA Game Of The Week Playoff Edition: 2nd Round Announcement
The first round of the 2023 LHSAA Playoffs is in the books. Some of our Southwest Louisiana teams advanced, and some saw their seasons come to an end. This week on our Southwest Louisiana Game of the Week Driven by Lake Charles Toyota will have an exciting matchup in Division II Non-Select.
Last week on our Southwest Louisiana Game of the Week, we went to Moss Bluff as the Mandeville Skippers came to SWLA to take on the Sam Houston Broncos in the 1st Round of the Playoffs. It was a rainy Friday Night and Mandeville came into Wayne Hooper Memorial Stadium and upset the Broncos behind Nate Sheppard running for over 320 yards.
