The Chinese Spy Balloon has been spotted in Missouri by the National Weather Service.

According to wind models, the balloon could track for Louisiana when it gets closer to the southern half of the United States. In fact, if you look at the graph below from Meteorologist Zack Fradella, it looks like it could fly pretty darn close to SWLA.

I have be honest with you, I don't know why we haven't shot this thing out of the sky yet. It may not pose a national security threat now, but it shows China that we'll let them fly whatever they want into our airspace without repercussions. This is terrible foreign policy, especially when it involves one of our biggest adversaries in the world.

We should have shown them right when we found out the Spy Balloon was in our airspace that foreign flying objects will not be tolerated. It's not like this is a rogue balloon that has flown off course from Canada or even Mexico...it's a balloon deliberately flown into our country from CHINA!

Pentagon spokesman U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder confirmed today in a press conference that the balloon can control its flight. He also said that NORAD is closely following the balloon's flight path and that the balloon is not seen as a military threat.  However, this means China could launch more balloons in the future (worst-case scenario) and drop viruses. bombs, or anything else they want on US cities and we won't know until it's too late.

I hope and pray that never happens. But, in my opinion China can't be trusted and they are testing our government to see what reaction we'll have to them flying a Spy Balloon over our country.  Right now, we're showing them we have no backbone.

Shoot it down now Mr. President.
