[WATCH] Did Drew Brees Get Struck By Lightning Filming A TV Commercial?

A video has surfaced that shows Drew Brees being struck by lightning during an outdoor filming of a TV commercial.

Pro Football Talk is reporting that Brees was " apparently struck by lightning" while filming a TV commercial for PointsBet sports book.

Drew had tweeted last Friday that he was excited to be heading to a top-secret filming location for the commercial.

A video has surfaced showing Brees getting struck by lightning at the outdoor location:

I believe this video was manufactured to go viral and help get the word out about PointsBet sports book. I don't think for a second that Drew was actually struck by lightning and neither does Saints beat writer Nick Underhill.

It's getting so much attention that PointsBet has sent out a press release on the matter:

We are aware of the media coverage regarding PointsBet brand ambassador Drew Brees. We are in communication with Brees’ team and will continue to monitor events throughout the coming hours. At this stage we will not be making any further comment.
