UPDATE:  TMZ reports law enforcement told them Allison Holker rushed to an LAPD branch Tuesday morning to report her husband DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss' was missing. She reported he left the house without warning, had no car, and wouldn't return her calls. Holker was adamant that there was no previous argument and that they had no issues. So, she knew something was wrong because it was entirely out of his character to disappear and not respond like that.

The police said they followed Holker back to her house to check the property briefly and review the home security video for clues about where he'd gone. Allison was reportedly so insistent on how bizarre tWitch's behavior was the authorities considered listing the famous dancer as a "critical missing persons" case. However, shortly after Allison filed the missing person report, dispatch received the 911 call that Bosse's body was found in a motel room.

The emergency call was placed by a staff member from the Oak Tree Inn Motel, roughly a mile from the DJ's house in Encino, California. ET confirmed Wednesday that the popular entertainer had booked a one-night stay at the motel on Monday. When he didn't check out the following day, housekeeping and management knocked on his room door. When he would not answer, they entered, discovered his body on the room floor, and immediately called 911. A rep for the LAPD Media Relations told ET,

"On 12-13-22 at around 11:20 am, West Valley Division officers responded to an "Ambulance Death Investigation" radio call at a motel. Investigators determined that the decedent died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and there were no signs of foul play. The case was handed over to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office."

Beloved DJ/dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss has died from an apparent suicide. Best known from the Ellen DeGeneres Show and a judge for the hit dance TV show So You Think You Can Dance, Boss was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room on Tuesday (December 13). According to TMZ the star's death was caused by suicide.

TMZ reports Boss’s wife, Allison Holker, went to the Los Angeles Police Department and filled a report because he left home that morning without his car. Somewhere around 11:15 a.m. Dispatch received a call about a "medical emergency" at an L.A. motel. When paramedics arrived, they discovered the entertainer suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Stephen Boss was declared dead. He was only 40 years old. The celebrated DJ/dancer leaves behind three children and a wife with whom he had just celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary four days before his death. Devastated Allison Holker posted the following statement:

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him." She wrote.

"He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory.”

The world is shocked by his untimely death, and it's unclear why or what transpired before the incident. Heart and prayers go out to his wife, kids, family, and friends.
