Grand Jury Indicts New Orleans Saints Alvin Kamara [VIDEO]

New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara and Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons are in big trouble. According to nfl.com, Clark Grand Jury in Nevada has indicted the two NFL football players for their role in an alleged assault on Feb. 5, 2022, in Las Vegas. Kamara and Lammons are facing conspiracy charges to commit battery and battery - substantial bodily harm.

In addition, fellow defendants Darrin Young and Percy Harris were indicted on conspiracy charges to commit battery and battery. All four men are accused of beating up Darrell Greene Jr., causing the alleged victim substantial bodily harm. KLAS-TV reports a court date was set for March 2, and because of the indictment, the criminal case now bypasses Las Vegas Justice Court.

Preliminary hearings are set for March 1 for all four men. Kamara's attorneys said in a statement obtained by NFL Media, "The State has avoided a contested preliminary hearing by indicting Mr. Kamara." Attorneys Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld said. "He intends to vigorously fight the allegations at trial as he was defending himself and others at the time of the incident."

Darnell Greene Jr. filed a civil lawsuit and is seeking more than $10 million in damages from Alvin Kamara.
