Join Us For Canines & Cocktails At The Lake Charles Paramount Room
Come and support local art and culture while helping a few furry friends find a forever home just in time for Christmas. Friday, December 16th, 2022, join us for "Canines & Cocktails: A Night of Fine Dining” presented by the Imperial Calcasieu Museum and SWLA food guru Chef Amanda Cusey!
Dine on an amazing five-course meal prepared by Chef Cusey at the downtown Lake Charles’ Paramount Room from 6-8 pm. This delicious dinner will feature soup, salad, two protein dishes, and dessert. The night would not be complete without a silent auction, the music entertainment performed by incredible violinist Jairus Daigle and awe-inspiring live painting provided by talented artists Ashley Royer and Kat Godsey.
Philanthropy never tasted so good! This event benefits the lifesaving work of the Do Good Dog Rescue helping animals in desperate need of a loving home. As well as the Imperial Calcasieu Museum's tireless work of advocating for local artists and preserving the rich culture of SWLA. Tickets are available through Eventbrite at $250 each and $1750 for tables of up to 8 people. The dress code is cocktail attire.

For a quick side note, join us on Saturday, December 17, for "Yoga Under the Oak" and again on December 31. Please bring your mat or light blanket. Setup starts at 8:30 a.m., and class begins at 9 a.m. Taught by Maegan Gonzales to help release, relax and engage your mind and body through yin yoga practice. Elevate stress and restore your energy, focusing on conscious breathing in postures. This event is free and open to the public!
The Imperial Calcasieu Museum's hours of operation are Tuesday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Wednesday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and $2 for seniors. $3 Veteran discount.
