Coushatta Casino Resort presents the ultimate 80s Ladies Live! This weekend, the concert series will be a music explosion featuring three iconic Divas who contributed to one of the biggest and most colorful music eras of all time: Sheena Easton, Tiffany, and Jody Watley (replacing Lisa Lisa)!

Tickets are on sale for the big show on Saturday, June 15, 2024! Doors open at 7 p.m., and the 80s music party jumps off at 8 p.m.

The legendary Jody Watley is replacing fellow 80s Diva Lisa Lisa this Saturday. Fans are in for a treat as the celebrated singer/songwriter/dancer has a long list of hits to perform! She started her career in the 70s as a dancer at the age of 14. Jody was selected to be a dancer on the hit TV music variety show Soul Train!

She and fellow dancer Jeffrey Daniel became standouts in the popular show. They soon caught the eye of Soul Train founder/host Don Cornelius, who recruited them to join a new R&B group he created. Shalamar featured lead vocalist Howard Howett; the group was incredibly successful and released several chart-topping singles and albums from 1977 to 1983.

Already an award-winning artist, Jody set out on her own in the late 1980s to develop a solo career. In 1987, she released her self-titled debut album, which went Gold. The lead single, "Looking For A New Love," shot to number one and scored her a Grammy for Best Female R&B Artist of the Year.

The songstress has been a force in the music world for the past three decades, with 14 albums and over 30 hit singles under her belt. She is a true music legend. Today, Watley is still performing and touring to the delight of fans. She's even added a radio host to her resume. When not on the road, catch "The Jody Watley Show" on Sirus XM's The Groove at 5 p.m. CT.

Sheena Easton is a global superstar whose career has spanned more than four decades. A Grammy award-winning singer she has earned Gold and Platinum albums in the U.S. UK, and Asia. The Scottish pop Diva has sold over 20 million records worldwide and counting. Easton was the first - and still, only - artist to have top five records on five major Billboard charts!

The music star is also a Jake of all trades appearing in several TV gigs including five episodes on one of the hottest 80s series of all time, "Miami Vice." She the trilogy for Showtime titled “Body Bags," starred in the hit TV series “The Highlander,” and had a starring role in UPN’s “Ghost Stories” and more. She's done Broadway starring in productions like "Man of La Mancha," Grease,"  and "42nd Street." She even hosted a Vegas talk show with R&B legend Brian McKnight!

On Broadway, Sheena starred as Aldonza/Dulcinea in “Man of La Mancha” opposite the late Raul Julia’s “Don Quixote.” Throughout its yearlong run, the play remained one of the top five-grossing hits at the box office. She also starred on Broadway as Rizzo in the hit musical “Grease.” The 2017 season saw Sheena’s return to the UK as she starred as Dorothy Brock in “42nd Street” at the Theatre Royal in London’s West End. See her live in Kinder this June!

A pop music legend who started her career in the 80s, Tiffany became the youngest artist to top Billboard with her debut album! Since then, Tiffany has put out projects such as the Pieces of Me: Unplugged EP, her first original Christmas single “Angels" and, her last project Shadows, which was released in 2022, and her newest single "Mistake" is available now for fans to enjoy!

Tiffany has 11 studio albums and sold more than 15 million copies worldwide.  The singer/songwriter/producer has done massive tours like the Shadows Tour with Johnny Martin and Scot Coogan of L.A. Guns, her North American Pieces of Me Tour, and co-headlined the North American Mixtape Tour, performing with everyone from Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, New Kids on the Block, and Debbie Gibson.

Tiffany also had time to mix her two favorite things music and food and launched a cooking club, Let's Food with Tiffany. See her live this June at Coushatta!
