Maintaining a business is tough. Sometimes it's better to focus on one thing at a time. At least that's what one Southwest Louisiana restaurant seems to be trying to do. The bad news: Taco Mel Taqueria closed its second location in Moss Bluff in the Parkway Village Shopping Center on September 1.

Customers were understandably upset when the local Mexican eatery posted the following message to their Facebook page.

The good news: Taco Mel Taqueria isn't leaving SWLA anytime soon! As explained the popular taco joint's 2740 Country Club location will remain open. It's probably not the best-case scenario for customers in Moss Bluff, but folks have driven further for their favorite food.

Even better news is Taco Mel on Country Club posted on Wednesday that they are hiring. Judging from the flyer below, they are looking for workers in several positions:

Finally, I you love Mexican cusine all is not lost with Taco Mel closing up shop in Moss Bluff. Discovering SWLA posted this week that a new Mexican restaurant is going to move into the old Taco Mel Taqueria location! So, Moss Bluff residents are going to get a very nice replacement.

According to reports, Maria's Concina Mexicana restaurant is opening in November! By the way, Maria's serves up tacos any way you want them and they make dynamite margarita daiquiris too!
