Arts & Humanities Council Of SWLA – ‘Living History Cemetery Tour’ In Lake Charles

If you were curious about Lake Charles's founding fathers and how they came into prominence, here's your chance to learn more about who they were and what role they played in shaping the city. Hear historical facts about where they came from and what they did while alive. Learn Lake Charles's history as you take a walking, guided tour of four historic cemeteries.

This fall, take a fascinating walking tour presented by the Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA. The tour is part outdoor theater, part history lesson, as actors dress in period clothing to portray people buried in four of the city's oldest cemeteries. The 'Living  History Cemetery Tour'  will occur on Saturday, November 4 from 4 pm to 7 pm!

However, you can buy your tickets now! Featured cemeteries will include Bilbo Cemetery, located on Lakeshore Drive. Sallier Cemetery on Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive, Combre Memorial Park on Opelousas Street, and Orange Grove Cemetery on Broad Street.

Don't miss this exciting tour as the guide/actors dress in period attire to portray the lives of deceased historical figures throughout the tour.
