Christmas tree farms present a special opportunity for the whole family to go out into the field and select a living tree. Once you select that perfect tree, they will shape it, cut it, wrap it and load it on your vehicle! It really is a cool experience and painting your tree or flocking your tree is usually an option as well.

A lot of the farms have fun activities, petting zoos, and gift shops where they sell a variety of other things like fresh honey or cane syrup. Most Christmas tree farms even have professional photographers to help you mark the special holiday occasion with a family portrait. This is a great place to take the family or students for an educational school field trip. In addition to growing and selling Christmas trees, they have a bee farm and a syrup mill. The Grant Tree Farm also has a gift shop where they sell the honey, cane syrup,  and fruit jams and jelly they make. The gift shop also sells a wide variety of arts, and crafts, seasonings, Grant Farm merch, and more.

There is plenty to eat from the on-site cafe such as B-B-Que sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Nachos, Grilled meats, Potato Fries, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Ice Cream, Lemonade, Candies, and Soft Drinks. During the Christmas tree On Oct. 29, Nov. 26, and Dec. 3 you can even get breakfast on festival Saturdays. There are plenty of activities to take part in once you get there like taking a hayride and tour around the farm, jumping under the canopy, riding the zip-line, or walking thru a cornfield maze just to name a few.
