AllHipHop News reports an anonymous woman is suing R&B superstar, Trey Songz, for sexual assault. The woman claims the singer put his hands under her dress at a New Year's Eve party in January 2018. What's weird, is she's suing Trigger, but don't want to reveal her identity. How does that work?

The woman known only as Jane Doe, is suing the singer to the tune of $10 million in damages. Trey, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, is being accused of putting his hands under her dress and trying to insert his fingers somewhere else. Last month Judge Ursula Ungaro ruled against Jane Doe's request to remain anonymous on grounds that her particular accusations didn't warrant secrecy. The judge also said Trey has a right to face his accuser.

Ms. Doe claims she's shielding her identity in a handwritten note for fear of her safety, alleging she may be targeted by Trey's fans or Islamic extremists. An excerpt of the note given to the court read:

"Under our cultural beliefs and traditions, such a sexual assault would have the tendency to bring shame and humiliation upon my family. As a result of these beliefs, I have yet to even tell my family about the incident involved in the Complaint in an effort to protect them."

After she lost her first attempt to remain anonymous, Jane Doe is back and filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals in Florida. We'll see soon enough if the judge is ready to give any consideration to her second request.
