Keeping An Eye On Hurricane Delta

Whether you are a religious person or not, I think it is safe to say that someone up there is not pleased with the way things are going in the world and, it seems, Louisiana. This is coming off of the fact that we just dealt with a kneeling blow from Hurricane Laura and from the looks of it, may have to face another this weekend.

I am hoping we will get a pass. We may get some showers, but that is still not good for us here. Many of us, including myself, are waiting to get our roofs redone. A long day or weekend of heavy rain is not something we are wanting to see right now.

There are still many people who are currently displaced because of Laura and have not even been home yet. Imagine the anxiety and fear they potentially could be facing. We are keeping an eye on this storm, but we definitely do not need it here in our city or anywhere close. With the fact that hurricane season will not be over until the end of November, we just don't know how much more we can take. As the days progress, we are keeping an eye on things, just like we were there for you before, during, and after Hurricane Laura. Should things take a turn for the worse, we will be here with you for Hurricane Delta, as well.

I just don't know how much more we can take as everyone is worn out, stressed, and tired. Let's try to keep each other lifted and get through this together.
