FEMA opened a drive-thru in Lake Charles for Hurricane Laura survivors to drop off documents pertaining to their case files. The FEMA Drop-Off Center is located at 3310 Broad Street (Calcasieu Parish School Board) building.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing protocols will be enforced and masks or face coverings are required for service. Residents are asked to remain in their vehicles and drive up to the window, where a FEMA specialist will provide assistance.

Operation hours are seven days a week, from 7:00am to 7:00pm. No appointments are necessary. Visit www.DisasterAssistance.gov to apply for assistance or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 or TTY 800-462-7585 for questions and more information.
