Look! Lake Charles McDonald’s Now Have Adult Kids Meals With Toys!

It was announced a week or so ago that Mcdonald's was going to get a bit nostalgic for us adults that still don't want to grow up. Do we really need a toy now that we are adults? Yes, the heck we do!

Dragging you back to your childhood, it seems McDonald's has made a good attempt at it. Just this time, it's got a more adult serving of food. Before we get to the toy surprise, let's talk about the food that's in the box. Yes, it comes in your very own Happy Meal box that we used to love. You have the option to get a Big Mac or a 10-piece nugget. The meal also comes with fries and a drink. Basically, the Happy Meal I wanted even as a kid. So what about the toy inside?

This is where it gets a smidge weird. The adult Happy Meal is actually called "The Cactus Plant Flea Market Box". They are apparently some weird fashion design company and they have teamed up with McDonald's to do the box design and redesign the toys. You know when someone tries to copy you, but they claim they are totally different? That's how I feel these "toys" are. They're the normal figurines we grew up with, but you might notice they are a bit better at eyesight. Yes, they all have 4 eyes. I really can't figure out why, plus you'll notice a character that you've never seen before. That's apparently Cactus Buddy. Each box will come with one of these 4 characters for you to enjoy for a day or two and end up losing under your car seat.

Pricing for the box is set by individual stores, but it seems the average price is around 10 bucks. Adults in Lake Charles have been showing off their boxes left and right on Facebook. It seems for sure they are in Lake Charles and Sulphur so far.
