Minnesota Governor Demands Police Reform

"We can simply acknowledge it doesn't need to be this way," said Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. Following the fatal shooting of another unarmed Black man, Daunte Wright, Governor Waltz, like many around the nation, is fed up with watching the same movie.

Real change must come!

Well done! "We can stop pretending," said Gov. Wiltz. He is absolutely right. The Governor demanded state legislatures begin hearings on police reform. In no way is this call for reform a way of vilifying all police. Rather, it is a necessary need to take out the trash by doing a thorough investigation into weeding out bad actors on every level.

If every state would demand accountability and transparency of its legislators and justice systems, the country would surely be a better place for everyone. It is time for change, and taking responsibility is a good place to start.
