It's no secret that I miss a lot of my weekly lunch eateries. There are quite a few that have re-opened, but there are still quite a few missing. A Cajun Roast beef sandwich from Pronia's Deli has been on my mind for months. I drive by the building and see progress, but now we have a better idea of an opening date.

In an interview with the American Press, Leroy Pronia told them that the 20-year operating bakery and deli is indeed making its big return. According to the interview, Hurricane Laura destroyed the entire roof of the building and ruined everything inside. They used the problem as an opportunity and are rebuilding it to be even better.

Not only will the bakery and deli be back that we all miss, but it seems that Pronia's is adding a bit more spice to its life by adding an actual venue across the street from the restaurant. The Venue at Pronia's will feature 2,300 square feet of space to accommodate meetings, showers, and some smaller receptions for weddings.

The actual restaurant will also get a bit of an expansion. They are looking to increase the capacity of the dining area plus making it brighter on the inside with way more space.
