Mrs. Debra Johnson community liaison from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1102 Mill Street in Lake Charles, is pleased to announce an exciting Fall fundraiser. Rev. Richard Uche Adiukwwu and the Sacred Heart congregation invite residents of SWLA and surrounding areas out to fellowship at their Pop-Up Shop.

Weather permitting this wonderful event is free to the public and certainly a family day of shopping, delicious Louisiana favorites, and plenty of goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth. The Sacred Heart Pop-Up Shop is the first of the year, so they have had plenty of time to their treasure trove with a ton of goods you won't want to miss out on.

There will be plenty of items on sale and with the Christmas holiday around the corner, this event will be the perfect place to find a unique gift for your loved ones! Save the date: Saturday, November 6, 2021 9 am - 2 pm in the school parking lot, across from the church. We hope to see you there! See the event flyer below for more details.

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it's hard to keep track. Just when you've grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
