Son’s Response to No Toilet Tissue Leaves TikTok & Mom Speechless

As a parent, I can tell you my proudest moments have come when I have seen my children accomplish things I have never done in my lifetime. I think that's the mission of a good parent. The way I have looked at raising children, it's really a four-step plan that can lead to enrollment in a 12-Step Program. Nah, just kidding about the rehab, raising kids can be quite rewarding if you follow a few simple steps.

One, you're supposed to put a good human being on the planet. Two, you teach them right from wrong. Three, you teach them how to make good choices, and four, you hope they learn to be a lot smarter than you. It's that fourth thing that we as parents have an issue with especially as our kids get older.

Unfortunately, it's about the time our kids get into their teenage years when all of this intelligence comes spewing out of their mouths in the form of sarcasm and every now and then a little disrespect. But through it all, we as parents always feel as if we have the upper hand until it happens.

Until, that day when we realize that the balance of power has shifted and we need to start looking at our kids differently. Such was the case for Tik Tok User @failing_full_circle, oh my gosh, I love that handle. "Failing" found out the hard way that her son had reached the tipping point when he offered this hilarious reply to a problem none of us ever wants to have.

It seems the young man found himself in the bathroom without any tissue to complete his appointed mission. That's when he called Mom and that's when Tik Tok lost its collective mind.

As you might imagine the video, which over 4 million people have watched created quite a buzz in the comments section. Many parents related their own struggles with their own children in this regard.

I suppose for this Tik Tok User this kind of reply from her kid is to be expected. She did name herself Failing Full Circle and that shows a lot of creativity. So it's no wonder her child came back with such a creative response. I am certainly glad that we were not treated to what the "us problem" could have looked like. I would assume it would be like this scene in Daddy Daycare.

Well, let's hope your sarcastic and smart-mouthed young ones will at least mind their manners long enough for you to share this with them. And as a parent, you should add one more lesson to their life skills too.

This lesson has to do with using the bathroom and the supply of toilet tissue. That rule is simply this, "make sure you check before you commit". It's either that or learn how to do that wobble walk we all do when our pants are around our ankles.
