Spring Break, COVID cabin fever, and an influx of people from out of town doesn't make the situation any better. Bottom line: wake up, everybody. The disease caused by the coronavirus is serious and it's extremely deadly. We must all remember until each one of us is vaccinated or naturally immune (people with antibodies), we have to wear our masks and social distance. Otherwise, we will be right back where we began. The state will be forced to shut down again, and nobody wants that. For more info on the COVID stats in Calcasieu Parish, click here.
