Teen Connections: Becoming a Better Writer in 5 Easy Steps, Thursday, Dec. 13

The latest Teen Connections seminars for local high school students will focus on Becoming a Better Writer in 5 Easy Steps. The seminars are for teens ages 13-18 and the final seminar for 2018 is scheduled for Thursday, December 13, from 5 pm - 6 pm at the Ward 3 Recreation Huber Park Community Center, located at 2401 4th Avenue.

According to a City of Lake Charles media release, "even in today’s digital world of sometimes shorthand communication, the written word remains vitally important. The ability to communicate ideas, opinions, and information in a clear, concise manner remains a top skill for any professional".

“Teen Connection” is designed to help teenagers learn job skills, college prep, social media, interview skills, and ACT prep among others. The classes are instructed by educators, government officials, and business leaders in the community.
