Temporary Closure: Southbound Lanes of 1000 Block of Enterprise Boulevard

According to a media release from the City of Lake Charles, the southbound lanes of the 1000 block of Enterprise Boulevard, between 2nd St. and 3rd St., will close to vehicular traffic beginning Monday morning, Dec. 16, at 8:00am.

Southbound traffic will be detoured to 2nd Street to travel either west to Louisiana Avenue or east to 1st Avenue.

This temporary closure is scheduled to allow the "completion of underground work, installing drainage pipes, as part of an ongoing drainage improvement project that includes the rehabilitation of approximately 1,300 feet of existing drain lines", said the City.

The closure is "expected" to last until 5:00pm on Friday, Dec. 20, weather permitting.
