Things To Do In Lake Charles This Weekend April 29-May 1
Can you believe that it's the last weekend of April already? Summer will be upon us before we know it. There are a lot of upcoming events in Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles slated for June and July but we will get to that later.
Right now we are focused on giving you a list of things to do this weekend after a long week of work and adult responsibilities LOL.

The 2022 Louisiana Pirate Festival is underway in Lake Charles. It is taking place at the Lake Charles Civic Center and it's free to go. They will have food, drinks, and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Click here for the entertainment lineup.
The 1st Annual McVey’s Seafood Crawfish Boil Off is taking place this Saturday, April 30th in Lake Charles. The event starts at 11:00 am and runs through 10:00 pm. It features a cookoff, snowcones, face painting and fun jump for the kids, boiled crawfish, and live music all day. Plus ALL YOU CAN EAT crawfish from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm while supplies last for only $25 per person. Click here for the entertainment lineup.

Casey Peveto and his band will be live at Chaser's bar and grill on the corner of Lake Street and University Drive in Lake Charles Saturday night. The band starts at 9:00 pm.
Garth Brooks will be at Tigers Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana this Saturday night and playing in front of 102,000 fans. Some tickets are still available and here is everything you need to know if you're going to the concert.
Koozies Daquiri and sports bar located at 2622 Highway 14 E Lake Charles, LA will have Pierce Breaux Friday night starting at 8:00 pm.
