I never had the opportunity to meet this young man, but I feel sympathy whenever a young life is lost. I always feel the need to talk to my peers about making sure their health is a priority when it come to taking care of ourselves. I am a Black male as well, and I get caught up in working and trying to make sure things get done, and occasionally I will slip when it comes to taking care of myself.

As a Black man, let me remind you to take care of yourself, as we all have someone who loves us. I want to personally send out condolences to DJ's family and to the entire ULL staff, as I am sure this is a blow going into the season. DJ Looney left many friends and peers behind. As you can see below, he was loved throughout his career.
