Welcome To The All New Magic 1470- Lake Charles Home For Real R&B

We officially debuted on the air on Monday January 29th at midnight with the new flavor that had been missing in Lake Charles for years. The concept of the radio station was to be strictly for the grown folks. We already have a station that is Number one for Hip Hop and R&B, so why not bring along a station that would offer a great variety of music on a more mature level.

This was a brainchild of mine for well over 4 years now. There is so much great music out there and there has been so much music over the years. Unfortunately in the Lake Charles area, artist like Anita Baker, Gerald Levert, The Tempations and more have been all but forgotten. We knew that there was an audience who wanted to hear this music and didn't want to have to deal with the Young Thugs of the world to get to it.

While the station is steal fairly new, We welcome all to check us out and let us know you thoughts. We welcome all advertisers who have never tried radio before or felt that you couldn't reach the right consumer to try us. Coming within the next few weeks will be The Russ Parr Morning Show and The DL Hughley show which will be like no other. We'll also be bringing along great gospel programming and you know we have to do the blues like no other.
