The coronavirus is real. We are truly losing many in our communities as well as worldwide. Many are taking precautions to get things back to normal while following protocol for safety.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus has hit close to home in Westlake. With this recent finding, Westlake High School will move face-to-face interaction to remote learning for the rest of this week. There are currently staff members who are quarantined due to testing positive for COVID-19 exposure.

Westlake High Staff is making the proper arrangements with families on how the process will go for the students. The remote learning will be a combination of virtual instruction and paper packets.

Face-to-face classes are expected to resume on Monday, January 4.
