According to the August 10, 2020 noon update from the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), 131,961* (up from 131,399 on 8/8) total cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed in Louisiana. There are currently 1,382 COVID-19 patients in hospitals (down from 1,383 on 8/8), 215 of which are on ventilators (up from 210 on 8/8).

All 64 parishes in the state have reported confirmed cases. There have been 4,169 total deaths (up from 4,145 on 8/8) reported statewide with 89,083 presumed recoveries.
