CPSO Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver of Newer Model GMC Pick-Up Truck

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is in search of a hit and run driver of a newer model white GMC pick-up truck involved in a collision in Sulphur on Thursday, November 8.

The incident happened at the intersection of E. Burton St. and Coach Williams Dr. in Sulphur at about 6 pm, during heavy traffic. The driver of the suspected vehicle turned left from the stop sign on Coach Williams Drive into the path of the victim traveling east on E. Burton Street, said a media release. Witnesses reportedly told deputies the "white GMC pick-up truck" had damage to the driver side and that the driver could have been injured, with the truck last seen turning north on Woodland Dr. from W. Burton St. in Sulphur.
