Today in Tha Wire Migos rap star, Offset, is a little more grateful these days as he recovers from injuries and a near death car accident last Wednesday (May 16, 2018.) TMZ reports Saturday (5/19/18) the star shared several pics of his injuries from his hospital room . With the caption, "This is why I thank God every day I could have been dead from this accident thank you all for [your] prayers." The Migos star is counting his blessings right about now, as the reality of how close he came to sudden death sets in.

The crash reportedly occurred when the rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendall Cephus, swerved to avoid hitting a man standing in the middle of the street. Thank God no one else was injured, but the star wound-up hitting a tree. Though he was hurt, and needed medical attention, his injuries were not life threatening. In a now-deleted tweet, PEOPLE reported that Cardi B addressed the accident shortly after it occurred tweeting,

“Crazy how Set had to swerve and hit a tree cause a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself, but God do unexplainable things!  Luckily a man was walking by, walked him home and just vanished. The Lord is real.” She continued,  “sooo grateful and happy today. God be giving messages in the weirdest way. I love you Offset.”

Meanwhile the rap diva just premiered the new video for the 3rd single off her debut album Invasion of Privacy. The highly anticipated music video for "Be Careful" is below. Enjoy!

As for Offset's wreck, Cardi's account is about all anyone has at this point. That includes police. TMZ reports 911 dispatched officers to the scene, but when they arrived the rap star was already gone. My guess is, he was more than likely on his way to the hospital. None-the-less the authorities are investigating what led to the crash, and why the star, or someone in his camp didn't report the accident. I'll keep you posted on that one.

The good news is, Offset survived it all. That's more than what can be said about his car. Below is a look of an IG post of the aftermath, and what was left of his green Charger.

Offset's group is ready to have him back on his feet as well. His Migos groupmate and cousin Quavo, made sure he and Takeoff represented their squad at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. The rappers also breathed a sigh of relief knowing Offset was going to make a full recovery. Quavo said on the red carpet, "He should be back working real, real soon. It’s a blessing that he’s still here." We certainly wish him a speedy recovery as well.

Changing gears this year's Billboard Awards was full of excitement, and only a handful of artists walked away with multiple trophy's. The biggest winners of the night, were Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and Janet Jackson was honored with the 2018 Icon Award. Below are a few of the nights best performances, and moments.
