Kevin Hart Homie Of 15 yrs Is Behind Sex Tape Extortion – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire, Kevin Hart just learned his homie of 15-years was behind the sex tape extortion plot that nearly destroyed his marriage. Remember when the actor/comedian came clean, via Instagram, and admitted to cheating on his pregnant wife last year? Well he didn't do it, because he just wanted to tell the world his business. He was being bribed by someone threatening to release a sex tape in August (2017,) featuring him knockin da boots with actress/model Montia Sabbag in a Vegas hotel.

Last September (2017,) the star bravely posted a video on his page apologizing to his kids, wife Eniko Hart and fans.

Along with his confession, Kev revealed somebody was trying to bribe him. He said, "I’m also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that was what was attempted. I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes." An obviously that's what he did. He also reported the extortion plot to the FBI, who in turn, launched an aggressive investigation to find the perpetrators.

Yesterday, HipHollywood reported police got their guy! The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced they had arrested 41-year old actor, Jonathan Todd Jackson. Turns out, he and Hart had been close friends for the past 15-years! Cold blooded right? The 38-year old star got his homie a part in his flick “Think Like a Man Too,” J.T. attended Hart's bachelor party, and was there for a lot of the stars life moments like most friends would be. Wow, with friends like these....

TMZ reports Jackson wrote a letter to Hart threatening the release the sex tape, and was actively shopping the clip around to various celeb news sites. The Kevin's former homie also leaked other videos to the net. One showing the star with other women, and another filled with accusations about last years sex scandal.

One thing's for sure, Jackson tried it ( Tamar Braxton voice.) But his extortion plan backfired, and now he's locked up, lookin at some jail time. Shopping the sex tape, more than likely got him caught. Meanwhile the D.A.'s office confirmed the extortion plot started in August 2017. J.T. threatened the star with a written letter, basically telling him to pay an undisclosed sum of money to keep the tape from getting out.

I would imagine now that Sabbag will sue the hell out of Jackson now that she knows he's the one who secretly filmed her, little rendezvous with Kevin. Meanwhile the actor has bigger problems to worry about. His bail wais set at $100,000, he's been charged with 2 felony counts of attempted extortion and extortion by threatening letter. If convicted he could spend a max sentence of 4 years in prison.
