Memorial Day Holiday Garbage & Trash Collection, Week of Monday, May 28

The Memorial Day holiday will be observed on Monday, May 28, in Lake Charles. Here are the holiday garbage and trash collection schedule.

The rescheduled times for garbage and trash pickup in the City of Lake Charles are:

• Normal pickup for Monday will be rescheduled for Tuesday, May 29.
• Normal pickup for Tuesday will be rescheduled for Wednesday, May 30.
• Routes for Thursday and Friday will remain as normal.

All Recycling services, including the Team Green recycling truck and incinerator, will close on Monday. All other services for the Department of Public Works will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Normal office hours resume on Tuesday, May 29.
